Bonnybrook Farms

Yesterday the four of us went to Bonnybrook Farms. It is located about 25 minutes North of where we live. The farm was founded in 1967 in Centerville Ohio and are known for training horses. The suburbs of Dayton began crowding the farm and therefore in 2006 the owners bought property in Clarksville Ohio and began developing a new farm. There is approximately 300 gorgeous acres of land. There is a beautiful stable with an arena. Pumpkin patches, big barn with a restaurant, pond, live animals, a huge hill that theyve carved a hole from top, through the center, and to the bottom and inserted a drain tube as a slide, slingshot, pumpkin painting, etc. The hayride was amazing. Along the way the hayride would stop and folks from a local theater, dressed in character would tell stories referencing local stories such as underground railroad, local settlers, Shawnee Indians, Caesars Creek, etc. I absolutely loved it. The place was clean, beautiful, enough space to not in the least feel crowded, and lots of fun. I will definitely be going back in a couple weeks. And of course I took at ton of photos so enjoy the photo dump...
