Sunflower Festival

Ella, Grandma Jo Jo and I went to the Sunflower Fest at Gorman Heritage Farm this morning. There were hayrides, mule rides, pumpkin painting, sunflower cutting, music, food, etc as well as the tour of the farm.

Checking out the pumpkins
My child's hair is getting out of control
Ella loved painting the pumpkin and did such a great job!
There was even a pumpkin slingshot!

We spent quite a bit of time in the children's garden
Posing with Grandma Jo Jo
Posing with mommy as she is mooing like a cow
We checked out the animals on the farm
This pig had itself crammed in its trough and just laid there eating food and snorting
Ella grinding corn

We took a mule ride
We were able to go in the sunflower field and cut sunflowers to take home. I couldnt get very good pics as Ella was tired and literally kept falling down in the field
Listening to music with grandma
Grandma Jo Jo bought some tomatoes and lettuce to go with lunch
The farm wore.ella.out! Shortly after we got home and had lunch she began screaming and crying and announced "I need nap". We had a fun time and were glad grandma was able to go with us!
