Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It has been nothing but Christmas up in here for the last couple weeks. We listen to Christmas music in the car and in the house, we have made Christmas crafts and Christmas ornaments, we have seen Santa four times at four different locations, we read Christmas books, we talk about baby Jesus, and we do the Elf on the Shelf.

Last Thursday the girls and I met up with a friend and her two kids at Entertrainment Junction to see Santa, check out the winter train scenes, and play in the play area.

Tonight the four of us headed to Loveland for Christmas in Loveland. The weather couldn't have been better for an outdoor event. Loveland is a small, cute town with even cuter restaurants and shops on a very cute little Main Street. I love Loveland even when it isnt' all dressed up for Christmas. Just being in the little town makes you feel good so imagine when its all festive and lit up. It seriously was like straight out of a Hallmark movie. Tonight they had everything you could imagine that has to do with Christmas in a small town. Choirs on every block, a live manger scene even with real camels, samples of cookies, bread pudding, kettel corn, cider, hot chocolate, bonfires, chesnuts literally roasting on a fire, a kids train that took you to the Northpole to see Santa across town, kids crafts, carriage rides, Christmas lights galore, streets lit with candles, the list goes on and on. Who says a city can't have a small town feel?
